How a change in leadership will transform Fairfax
What can be done?
Stop High-Rise Development & Fix the Housing Element:
The current Town Council ignored key safety risks in their rush to approve a flawed Housing Element—including:
Greenhouse gas emissions
Severe traffic impacts
No full wildfire evacuation study
Even worse, they accepted an environmental report written by the developer’s own consultant—a clear conflict of interest. A new Town Council can rescind, revise, and fight back to protect Fairfax
Enforce the Law: Clear the Encampment
Despite the anti-camping ordinance passed in February, nothing has been done. Under new leadership:
Anti-camping signs will go up
The encampment can be lawfully cleared
Our parks and children can be protected again
Fix the Budget & End Wasteful Spending
Fairfax’s budget is in crisis—and the current Council continues to hand out bloated contracts to consultants and cronies. A new Council can:
Launch a forensic audit
Slash unnecessary legal fees
Ban conflict-of-interest contracts
Your tax dollars deserve transparency and oversight.
Restore Civility and Open Dialogue
Our current leadership has fueled division, hostility, and suppression of differing views. A new Council can:
Enact a Code of Conduct for staff and board members
Create a culture of respect and open communication
Ensure every resident's voice is heard
